At Gas y Petroquimica de Occidente S.A. de C.V. “GPO”, a company proudly part of Grupo Proman, safety is a value. We are committed to the continuous improvement of our processes and focus on mitigating occupational risks and reducing the environmental footprint of our processes and products. We ensure the maintenance of our facilities and that our work environment, processes and products are safe for employees, contractors, visitors and the communities in which we operate considering their needs and social requirements.
We firmly believe that every accident can be prevented.
For this reason, we are committed to:

Manage our processes responsibly in order not to affect our employees, contractors, neighboring communities, and the environment.

Fully comply with current regulations on Safety, Health and Environmental Protection.

Protect our employees by providing effective training, while maintaining the integrity of our assets and products.

Comply with the Life-saving rules that constitute the main tools to prevent accidents and are a condition of employment.

Demonstrate full coherence with our HSSE Fundamentals which are the baselines of our HSSE culture and are part of every decision we make.

Demonstrate our resilience and preparedness to maintain business continuity in any emergency event.
