Non-Technical Summary – Ammonia Plant Project
Topolobampo, Mexico
The 2,200 tonnes-per-day (TPD) ammonia plant project in Topolobampo, Sinaloa, is a large-scale facility designed to produce and supply ammonia to regional and international markets via road and maritime transport.
The project includes an integrated production plant, supported by pipelines, water systems, a natural gas metering station, dedicated loading facilities, a training centre, and site access infrastructure. It is also supported by third-party assets, including a PEMEX-operated jetty and a CFE gas pipeline.
Design enhancements, currently under development, are focused on improving safety, efficiency and environmental performance, with optimisation of pipelines, electrical systems, water treatment and storage facilities.
